Coach Stephen Keshi, told the players to forget about the triumph of the team at the Nations Cup and concentrate on picking a ticket for the World Cup before the commencement of the day’s training.
He told the players to look ahead to getting to play in the 2014 World Cup that will be held in Brazil. He also told the newly invited players to show the stuff for which they were invited and character so as to break into the team.
The training was an intense affair with emphasis on quick and simple play and it lasted for two hours.
Meanwhile, First Bank of Lagos central defender, Festus Ajah has been called up to replace the injured Zango Umar. Ajah had impressed national team scouts in and is expected in camp by Tuesday evening on time for Wednesday’s morning training session.
