Ikechukwu Uche is leading the charge that may just see Villarreal gain immediate promotion back to La Liga. His two goals against Girona after last week’s goal against Alcorcon have taken him to 13 goals for the season.
Uche has come good at the end of the season with promotion in sight for the Yellow Submarine and is getting the goals that could help push the former Champions League semi-finalists back into the top flight.
Congratulations to Ikechukwu Uche, Goal.com's Nigeria Player of the Week winner!

The Shortlist
Brown Ideye - Dynamo Kiev

The Super Eagles striker scored his 17th league goal though his team lost, he can take pride in the fact that he has gone beyond last season’s goal tally of 12.
The Super Eagles striker also scored four goals in the Champions League to attract interest from abroad and he could move to a club in the Premiership in the coming season.
Ayo Saka - Enyimba FC
Saka (pictured in the middle) scored and provided the assist for Sibi Gwar against Bayelsa with a delightful lob.
Saka was described by Goal’s Kolade Oni as a live wire of the Aba team. “He was all over the pitch and it proved to be one of his best games ever for Enyimba.”
Ikechukwu Ibenegbu - Heartland FC

'Mosquito' as Ibenegbu is known in the league has helped unfancied Heartland of Owerri rise to the apex of the 13-week old Nigeria Professional Football League.

A member of the Beach Eagles, he provided the assist for Amarachi  Ukaegbu as Heartland defeated ABS to assume the leadership of the league table.
Ahmed Musa - CSKA Moscow
The winger turned striker helped his side to the Russian league title after seven years and should emerge as their highest goal scorer.
His 11 league goals have been pivotal for CSKA and he could end up with the double as CSKA are in the final to play

Sunday Mba is still our player Warri Wolves
The elite division side have expressed unhappiness over the report making the rounds that the striker ha been sold
Warri Wolves have denied selling most sought after Super Eagles' player, Sunday Mba to any club and are still inviting clubs especially those outside the country to come for negotiations.

The Warri based club recently freed Mba to play for Enugu Rangers in the Caf Champions League and it is believed in many quarters that the player will now play for the Flying Antelopes as soon as transfer formalities are settled.

But Warri Wolves' media officer, Moses Etu in a press statement signed by him said the club only released Mba to play for Rangers on the continent for national interest's sake but that they have not even opened any negotiation with any club including Rangers for Mba.

"We also want to use this opportunity to tell the whole world that we only gave Sunday Mba to Rangers for the continental assignment and are seriously waiting for a good offer from any interested club for the player who scored the goal that won Nigeria the Nations Cup.

"This clarification is necessary as a result of stories making the rounds that we have sold him to Rangers.

“ We want to clarify the issue of Sunday Mba and make it clear that we have not agreed on any fee with any club, albeit to say that we are waiting for the right offer and as soon as anything concrete comes, we will inform the public accordingly,”a very blunt Etu explained.
