6 PLAYERS DROPPED AS KESHI NAMES SQUAD FOR CHAN RETURN LEG

July,24th 2013

NIGERIA SUPER EAGLES
According to reports the Super Eagles Coach Stephen Keshi has named his final 18 man squad that will travel down  to Abidjan to face Cote d’Ivoire in this weekend’s CHAN return leg.
Nigeria had won the first leg by a 4-1 goal margin in Kaduna but yet the fear of an upturn of this score line still lingers as the team didn't  really impress well enough to get the absolute pass mark from Keshi .The most interesting part of this news is that Mohammed Gambo who opened scoring when the Eagles ‘B’ defeated Cote d’Ivoire in the first leg was dropped.

More so other players missing out from the 18-man list are Nigeria league leading scorer Dele Olorundare, Jiya Mohammed (Bayelsa United), Ganiyu Ogungbe (Kwara United) and Ezekiel Bassey (Lobi Stars),Haruna Babalo ( Elkanemi Warriors)

Here is the full Squad:
