The Nigerian
national team arrived in Addis Ababa on Saturday morning for Sunday’s 2014
World Cup qualifying first leg play-off match against Ethiopia with the star 'Man' Mikel Obi being the center of attraction at the airport - The super Eagles touched down Bole International Airport at 8:50am via Ethiopian Airlines.
The Ethiopians have been in training for this encounter since mid-September and believes they have the physical capacity to subdue the African Champions as both sides battle for a slot enroute Brazil 2014 . Anyway , bringing that to play I think they have an edge as most of their players are home based and have played together for long time now and again , Addis Ababa is 2355m above sea level and is regarded as a high altitude area to play football , will that count in Ethiopia's favor?
The Eagles should be aware of all the obstacle that comes with these disadvantages that Ethiopia hold and bring an edge that is built with mental capacity/discipline to show class. A lot has been said already but the only thing that differentiates the Boys from Men is ninety minutes . No more talking , football is played on the field.
