Hoffenheim wants Emeka Eze

Transfer Gist
                                  Emeka Eze
According to report by MTNfootball.com German Bundesliga side Hoffeinheim have moved closer to signing Enugu Rangers star Emeka Eze.
A top club official of the Enugu side disclosed that negotiations have almost been concluded for the defensive midfielder, who has been capped by the Super Eagles, to move to the German side who escaped demotion to the lower league last season.

“It is a fact that Emeka would soon be leaving us for a German side. Negotiations for his release are almost complete and hopefully, he will jet out of the country for the pre-season with the German club Hoffenheim,” stated the top official of Rangers.

However, Rangers are not expected to reap any financial dividends from this transfer as Eze is fully owned by FC Inter of Enugu.

With the expected departure of the midfielder, it now brings to four the number of first-team players to dump ‘The Flying Antelopes’ after Chibuzor Madu and Razaq Adegbite moved to a Turkish second division side while U20 striker Alhaji Gero is also bound overseas.
