IMO EZEKIEL ON SONG AGAIN

Imoh Ezekiel was on target again for Standard Liege as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Genk in a Belgian championship playoff.

Standard Liege are on 39 points with a game to go which they must win to have chance of playing in the Europa League next term.

Standard Liege are in a must-win situation when they host Lokeren in the last game of the playoffs, but that will still depend on the result of the game between Genk and Club Brugge.

Nigerian youngster Ezekiel scored what look like his best goal yet in the 19th minute to put his team in front when he was set up by a mate from goalkeeper long ball, he outwitted two players, dashed into the 18-yard box, before he hammered the ball into the top corner of the post.

One of his advisers and former 36 Lion team manager Hasan Egilmez told MTNFootball.com that Ezekiel was excited with the goal and looks forward to power the team to Europe in the last game.

"Ezekiel is very happy with the goal. It was probably his best goal yet going by the way he got it. He is a big talent that will rule Africa soon. He is excited and hopes to lead the team Europe with his goal in the last game," Egilmez told MTNFootball.com

This season, Imoh Ezekiel has netted 15 times in the Belgian top flight.
